The Young Volunteers Association (YVA) of the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China was founded in 2004 in support of the Youth League. The tenets of YVA are to bring the pioneering action of university students into playing, developing their skills and abilities while making contribution to the coordinated development and advancement of society. As a social organization based on campus, YVA commits itself to promote the participation in volunteer activities and spirte to UNNC students.On the other hand,it also has gradually formed a complete organizational structure, issued an integrated constitution and a series of regulations.
YVA never stops seeking and providing numerous chance for students to get involved in volunteer activities. It makes the most of the status quo and advocates the spirit of “devotion, friendship, altruism and personal development”.
